PlexoWatch Support
Offline movies and TV on Apple Watch, from your Plex library or local files.
PlexoWatch is an iPhone companion and Apple Watch app from EVAME. Browse your own or shared Plex server, or import a file from Files, Photos, or a direct media URL. The iPhone prepares a Watch-friendly copy, transfers it over WatchConnectivity, and you play fully offline on the Watch. PlexoWatch is not affiliated with Plex Inc. It works with your Plex server. We do not upload your videos to EVAME servers.
Frequently asked questions
The transfer never finishes +
Open PlexoWatch on your Apple Watch and keep it in the foreground until the file arrives. The Watch app must be installed and reachable. Large files are slower over Bluetooth; Wi-Fi is faster if you have that setting on.
Why can I only keep one title on the Watch? +
The free plan allows one movie or episode on the Watch at a time. Delete it from the Watch library, or unlock PlexoWatch (lifetime or monthly) to add more, within your storage budget.
Is this an official Plex app? +
No. PlexoWatch is made by EVAME in Auckland and is not affiliated with Plex Inc. Sign in with your Plex account so the app can talk to servers you already own or that have been shared with you.
Where is my video stored? +
Preparation runs on your iPhone, or via your Plex server’s transcoder. The Watch-ready file is copied to your Apple Watch. EVAME does not host or upload your media.
How do I restore a purchase? +
Use Restore on the paywall after you reinstall or change iPhone. Purchases go through Apple. Email [email protected] if Restore does not show your unlock.
Can I paste a YouTube link? +
No. Only direct media file URLs are accepted. YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok and similar hosts are blocked.
